Real Actors Read...

YouTube is much like a giant Library; you can go in almost every day but even after a year or two there are still things that you haven't seen.

Just recently I was browsing around and stumbled across a channel and videos entitled 'Real actors read Yelp reviews'.  The premise is that they get professional actors to read out real reviews posted on Yelp, with the idea of trying to see the emotion of the person who wrote the review.  The idea behind this series is a simple one but the reviews are made even funnier when you add emotion to them.

If Yelp reviews wasn't enough for you they also have actors reading out Missed Connection pages & posts from Christian Forums.  This is a channel that I personally will be keeping a close eye on for more of these well made and beautifully funny videos.

Adrian Van Oyen

As I usually do, I was browsing YouTube this morning and stumbled across Adrian Van Oyen
Now Adrian posts videos of himself doing some pretty crazy things in public, stuff that I would love to do but I don't have the confidence to do.  That's where this post is going because I'm not going to post a video of his crazy antics; if you want to see that check out his YouTube channel below.

However I will post his personal vlog entitled 'Confidence' from his other channel explaining how he has the confidence to do the things he does.  Confidence is something I have personally struggled with for a long time; it's half the reason why I am the way I am.  It's also the reason why I have yet to do online vlogs myself.  But I believe the message behind this video is a very good one and hopefully by sharing this video with you all, we can all be that little bit more confident.

Black Ops 2 Challenge Guides

If you have Call of Duty Black Ops 2 & have played the single player campaign, you will have no doubt encountered the Challenges.  If you haven't then basically each single player mission has 10 challenges to complete, completing then all for every mission nets you an achievement/trophy.

If like me you are having a spot of bother with these challenges then I highly recommend checking out the videos posted by YouTube user ArticCompany via the link below.

The videos are of good quality, show you how to do the challenges and they are explained in full in the description box.  There is also the opportunity to skip ahead to specific challenges if you only need one or two.  I personally have used these videos to complete the majority of the challenges on my game & found them helpful, so I thought I'd share them with you.

On a side note I would just like to say that who ever decided to put these challenges in the game, along with the achievement/trophy that comes with completing them, should be fired.  These challenges have killed pretty much all enjoyment I got out of the game when I first started playing it and I'm literally having to force myself to load the game up just to get the last 20 challenges.  My only hope is that these don't return in future games in the series.

Black Ops 2 & Other Stuff

Well it's been awhile since I was last on this site but I am determined to make a go of blogging for once & actually mean it.  So last time I was here I mentioned about the new direction for this site & that's going to continue.  The main reasoning behind this is that I don't have the time to constantly keep an eye out for gaming news & I'm pretty rubbish at doing reviews.

So along with online videos & games I will be posting articles about many gaming related things I find on my searches online, the music choices I am currently listening to, and my general opinions of some bits of gaming news and the like.

So to kick off the rebirth of this site I have a Youtuber by the name of MetatronixGaming who posts game-play commentary videos (mainly on Black Ops 2 at the moment), and also posts 'How To' videos on how to make some of the best emblems around.  Why are they the best? Because they are Adventure Time emblems and you can't go wrong with a bit of Jake & Finn.

Check out his how to make Finn video below and please do Like & subscribe to his channel.

The hugely talented Peter Hollens

Here we are again, another post and another video from the internet that hopefully you've yet to discover.

As you have probably guessed from the title, todays video comes from Peter Hollens; a man who does a fair few accapella covers then a music video to go with them.

Now I may be biased but he is a hugely talented man who should (by all rights), be a bigger star than he is. The majority of his covers are better than the originals and his videos have a kind of human touch that is missing from the big superstar counterparts.  Check out the links below for his YouTube, website and Twitter.

So without going on too much here is my own personal favourite; Peter Hollen's cover of 'Some Nights by Fun'.
